Presentation: "Sustainable Development and Enterprise Value"

Time: Thursday 15:00 - 16:00

Location: City

Abstract: Recent troubling trends have called into question the long-term strategic value of software development. These include viewing enterprise IT as a commodity, spending an increasing portion of the IT budget on maintenance, and the struggle to quantify the value of new development. This presentation will discuss these trends and how a perspective based on sustainability can serve as a foundation for realizing the enterprise value of software development.
