Dave West, Author, Object Thinking

 Dave  West Dave West has almost 40 years experience as an IT developer, consultant, and educator. He is best known for his work in OO and Agile with a focus on design and architecture. He also has an extensive background in cultural anthropology and Buddhist philosophy and he therefore brings a unique perspective to his work in software definition and development.

This tutorial will begin with a short outline of what is necessary to implement a "business ecology" - an in depth integration of the business with IT to support innovation, adaptability, and strategy. Most of the tutorial will focus on specific objectives that must be satisfied to design and implement a business ecology along with practical techniques to realize those objectives.
