Presentation: "Everything I've Ever Learned, I Learned from Failure"

Time: Thursday 16:50 - 17:50

Location: Olympic Room

Abstract: It is better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all." Particularly in the Agile community, concepts such as "fail fast" are usually seen as neutral or even positive.  You will explore what this means for you, professionally as well as personally.  Rob examines the difference between mistakes and failures, and how each plays an important role on Agile teams.  Rob shares a variety of Lean and Agile principles and practices that embody this notion of "embracing failure," and how to interpret the feedback received from such practices. He will also share a few examples from his own history. You will have a chance to reflect on the impact your past decisions had (or may have) on your team, career, and life
