Abstract: Changing data in a grid takes extra consideration, especially when there are multiple dependent updates to the grid. Having updates span multiple partitions is not scalable and could lead to long response times. A better solution for multiple updates is having chained transactions where you link together single phase transactions and provide a recovery mechanism if there is a failure in one of the transactions.
