Founding Team Member @Rockset - the Search and AI Database (Acquired by OpenAI), Previously Built and Launched Cloud, Data & AI Products @Oracle, @VMware

I am driven by a passion for building technology that makes a meaningful impact on the world. Throughout my career, I’ve embraced the blend of technical and business challenges in bringing new products to life in the Cloud, Data, and AI space.

As a founding team member at Rockset, where I served as CPO & CMO, I had the privilege of shaping the cloud-native search, analytics, and AI database designed for real-time indexing. Over time, we secured over $100M in funding and grew from zero to more than 300 customers, managing several hundreds of terabytes at scale. This journey culminated in Rockset's acquisition by OpenAI, where it now powers real-time AI-driven search and retrieval.

Before Rockset, I was part of the early team at Ravello Systems, contributing to its rapid growth over three years, which ultimately led to its acquisition by Oracle. My journey also includes launching VMware’s first data product, vSAN, which quickly became one of the company’s fastest-growing product lines.

My leadership philosophy centers on empowering teams with autonomy and accountability while constantly seeking the most leveraged, the most strategic paths because I truly believe that less is more. I’ve also learned over time that the pursuit of excellence demands relentless grit - you gotta think big and stay optimistic. It’s a marathon.

When I'm not immersed in work, I enjoy experimenting with new vegetarian and gluten-free recipes in the kitchen (who knew healthy food could also be tasty?), finding new ways to stay active (currently into yoga and strength training) and some gardening. It’s my way of bringing balance and creativity to my life, so I can stay grounded.
