With over 10 years of varied experience in computer science from embedded operating systems to business systems and everything in between, he brings a pragmatic and often times unusual viewpoint to discussions.

Luke Hohmann, is the Founder and CEO of Enthiosys, Inc., a Silicon-Valley based software product management consulting firm. Luke is also the author of Innovation Games(sm): Creating Breakthrough Products Through Collaborative Play, Beyond Software Architecture: Creating and Sustaining Winning Solutions, and Journey of the Software Professional: A Sociology of Software Development.

Luke graduated magna cum laude with a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering and an M.S.E in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan. While at Michigan he studied cognitive psychology and organizational behavior in addition to data structures and artificial intelligence.

He is a former National Junior Pairs Figure Skating Champion and American College of Sports Medicine certified aerobics instructor. A member of the PDMA, ACM, and IEEE, in his spare time he enjoys rough housing with his four kids, his wife's cooking, and long runs in the Santa Cruz mountains (because he really does enjoy his wife's cooking).

Ramana Rao is advisor to several startups in the information intelligence space and Founder of iCurrent, an early-stage company in personalized information delivery. Previously, Ramana was Founder and CTO of Inxight Software, a spinout from Xerox PARC that became the leader in text analytics technologies and was acquired by Business Objects in 2007.

At PARC for ten years, Ramana performed pioneering work in intelligent information access, digital libraries, information visualization, and user interfaces. His work includes 25 patent filings and many highly-cited research papers. He received bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Eric Evans is a specialist in domain modeling and design in large business systems. Since the early 1990s, he has worked on many projects developing large business systems with objects and has been deeply involved in applying Agile processes on real projects.

Out of this range of experiences emerged the synthesis of principles and techniques shared in the book "Domain-Driven Design," Addison-Wesley 2003.

Eric now leads Domain Language, Inc., a consulting group which coaches and trains teams to make their development more productive and relevant through effective application of domain modeling and design.

Dan Pritchett, eBay Architect

Dan Pritchett is a Technical Fellow at eBay where he has been a member of the architecture team for the past four years. In this role, Dan interfaces with the strategy, business, product and technology teams across eBay Marketplaces, PayPal and Skype. Dan has been at eBay since 2001 and has made significant contributions to various business critical initiatives at eBay, including the migration of attributes and catalogs to the V3 marketplace platform, the implementation of eBay's Global Billing System, and the introduction of reliable asynchronous processing to the eBay platform. With over 20 years of experience at technology companies such as Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard and Silicon Graphics, Dan has an extensive depth of technical experience, ranging from network-level protocols and operating systems to systems design and software patterns.

Dan has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, Rolla. He lives in San Jose, Ca. with his wife and two daughters. He likes to spend his free time coaching at Willow Glen Little League and tinkering with cantankerous old British cars.

Nati Shalom, Gigaspaces, Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Nati is the CTO and Founder of GigaSpaces. He is responsible for defining the technology roadmap and the direction of GigaSpaces' products as they relate to standards adaptations, architecture, and product design. Nati is also the Head of the Israeli Grid consortium.

He has 10 years of experience with distributed technology and architecture namely CORBA, Jini, J2EE, Grid and SOA. As a software visionary and industry leader, Mr. Shalom is a frequent presenter at industry conferences and is actively involved in evangelizing Space Based Architecture and Data Grid patterns.
