Presentation: "Enculturating Master Craftspeople"

Time: Thursday 10:30 - 11:30

Location: Stanford

Abstract: The world increasingly recognizes that software development is a craft. But where to craftsmen come from? The educational system and corporate training programs are ill suited to the generation of craftsmen and certainly not master craftsmen. This presentation will outline a method, a curriculum, and an environment conducive to mastery of the software craft.
