David Pacheco is a software engineer at Joyent, where he leads the development of Joyent's Manta service. He previously led the development of Joyent's Cloud Analytics service, a system for dynamically instrumenting systems and applications throughout a datacenter. With a focus on debugging and root cause analysis, David also works on postmortem analysis tools for Node.js, enabling engineers to understand failures in programs after those programs have crashed. David received an Sc. B in Computer Science from Brown University.
