John Gesimondo is a software engineer with 14 years of experience, currently at Netflix for the past 5.5 years, where he focuses on using AI to automate challenges like client migrations and documentation updates. Before Netflix, John worked at various tech startups across industries such as food delivery, recruiting, and even sports betting and cryptocurrency arbitrage. A certified ADHD and uncertified autistic individual, he taught himself to code in his parents' basement, holds a business degree, and has learned an alarming amount about therapy and mental health from his life journey thus far. Outside of work, John is a chronic hobby rotator, with kite surfing being his latest passion.
