Abstract
This presentation explores how generative AI technology can be leveraged to enhance mental health and build sustainable mental peace in high-pressure work environments, particularly for achievement-oriented and neurodivergent individuals. By hacking energy-draining tasks and smoothing non-technical aspects of work, AI can help create a more vibrant and productive professional and personal life. The talk will share insights from personal experiences and provide practical strategies for implementing AI-based solutions to support well-being and productivity.
Key Takeaways:
- Learn to identify and mitigate daily struggles faced by neurodivergent individuals in the workplace using AI-powered tools. (And we all face these struggles sometimes!)
- Discover strategies for leveraging generative AI to streamline energy-draining tasks and focus on fulfilling work.
- Gain practical techniques for using AI as an "always-available therapy" to stay grounded and regulated throughout the workday.
Interview
I'm working on tooling for automated library migrations across all of our microservice fleet, using GenAI and ASTs.
My passion is making people's lives easier through technology (especially at work). I also have ADHD and have been using ChatGPT since it came out to fill some of my mental Executive Functioning gaps. I'm very excited to share these discoveries and creations with a wider audience.
If you're neurodivergent (especially ADHD), you'll likely enjoy this talk. If you're a high achiever that works until burnout, you'll probably enjoy this talk. If you're empathetic and want to learn about what's going on in the brains of some of your coworkers, check out the talk as well. The content will be independent of work function and level. Anyone from IC to C-Suite is welcome to attend!

I think we really haven't scratched the surface yet in applying GenAI to real world problems (other than copilots). The next stage of GenAI disruption is likely when the engineering harnesses around it get better at creating valid, pseudo-deterministic output.
