Abstract:
This is a practical and hands-on session into performance and stability issues facing mobile apps and specifically how they can be addressed through Offline HTML5 techniques. We will walk through an example of taking a simple off ‘offline’ and provide insight into a few tools/strategies required to increase the performance of your mobile apps and make use of new HTML5 capabilities

Bijan is the CTO and CoFounder at EventMobi, the largest app building platform for events and conferences. At EventMobi, he focuses on bridging the gap between the mobile-web and native platforms and has spent the last 4 years deploying large scale cross-platform mobile web applications. Previous to EventMobi, Bijan built an award-winning iOS app, was part of the discrete graphics team at AMD and founded a real-time RFID tracking consultancy. Bijan holds a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and can be found at @bijanv.
