Designed to support and connect women and allies during QCon San Francisco, the Women & Allies in Tech breakfast will be open for all attendees to join beginning at 7:30 am.
We will kick it off with a lightning talk about "Ditching the Diversity Checkbox for Real Change" by one of our QCon speakers, Sarah Aslanifar.
Sarah's remarks are followed by a chance to meet each other, share experiences and make new connections.

Sarah, (a.k.a. Procrastination Terminator) is a seasoned software developer with nearly two decades of experience. She is a Principal Engineer at Equal Experts, a global IT consultancy, and has actively contributed to the company's recent North American expansion. Born in Tehran during the Iran-Iraq war, Sarah's early life taught her resilience and adaptability, values that have greatly influenced her career. Sarah is known for her innovative approach to building productive teams that value experimentation to improve the delivery of complex projects.
