Distributed systems expert Jonas Bonér discusses the most common barriers to building highly responsive applications and the fundamental principles that can help unlock the capabilities of cloud, multi-cloud, and edge to building truly elastic, resilient, and agile digital experiences.
He explores asynchronous messaging, physically co-locating the data and processing with the end user, decentralized self-organization and replication across discrete environments, building services that are autonomous, self-healing, self-replicating, mobile, and location transparent—as a way to deliver guaranteed application resilience, elasticity, cloud and data sovereignty, nearly infinite throughput, end-user low latency, and infrastructure efficiency.
