Test Automation at Google Scale
Test Automation at Google Scale
Location:
Grand Ballroom B/C
Track:
Time:
Monday, 5:20pm - 6:10pm
Abstract:
Google maintains a single, monolithic code base; thousands of engineers develop against head, submitting up to 60 changes per minute. Without a strong testing culture and the tools to support it, teams working in this environment could easily become blocked on achieving a "green" build.
This talk will give you insight into the Google developer's workflow, the automation that allows us to iterate quickly and confidently, and the infrastructure that ties it all together.
Jason Leyba has been an engineer at Google since 2007. He spent two years working on Google Docs before moving to the Developer Infrastructure group. Jason is currently the technical lead for Browser Infrastructure, building systems for Google's browser automation needs.
