Diego Prats is a Principal at R&D special projects at DFINITY Foundation. Diego joined DFINITY Foundation in 2018 as an engineering manager where he led the SDK, P2P/Networking, and Consensus team before becoming Director of Product and eventually Principal. Over his career, he has led teams of engineers, cryptographers, and designers in consumer apps, B2B SaaS, and blockchain protocols. Originally from Mexico, he lives in San Francisco with two maltipoos, two twin toddlers, and one Staff+ engineer wife.
