With over 1,600 Technology employees, Nordstrom Technology has grown over 40% in the past three years. We’ve encouraged our engineers to be innovative, creative, and willing to take risks by introducing a new culture code: NorDNA. NorDNA is helping to create a workplace that enables talented people to provide amazing customer experiences. Considering Nordstrom is a century-old company, how did we introduce this new change while maintaining our history? This talk will start off by explaining what NorDNA is, how we’ve introduced this concept to our teams, and show concrete examples of how our employees have embraced this culture to create some inspiring products that move us forward.
