I want to share how the sweet spot is building an organization that combines scrappy creativity and growth mindset with the rigor of controlled scope and boring technology. Though those ideas can seem in polar opposition it’s embracing both that creates powerfully resilient teams. I’ll share how I applied these practices both at Spotify during the hypergrowth years building a $1BN ads business. And at SeatGeek, when a global pandemic stopped all live events, only for fans to come roaring back a year later at a scale we had never seen before.
